About me
Chase is a graduate of Kwantlen Polytechnic University, Wilson School of Design, with a Bachelor of Design in Graphic Design for Marketing. Before this, he completed a Diploma program at Langara College in Design Formation.
After four years at the Wilson School of Design, Chase gained the conceptual and technical skills to tackle real-world design challenges and the people and communication skills to work with clients and team members alike. He gained experience at ‘All Purpose Creative’ for a short practicum, taking part in user interface design exploration for the CODES (The Coalition for Digital Environmental Sustainability) website.
An interest in photography inspired him to join a yearbook class where he first formally experienced design and found a new joy causing him to take the class every subsequent year and additional art and graphic design classes.
Born and raised in Vancouver, BC to a supportive family, Chase has always been driven by his interests which keeps him open-minded and constantly learning. Chase is: a lifelong hockey player, a movie buff, a home cook, into politics, a manga reader, a clothing enthusiast, and a provincial-level snowboarder. These interests make him someone that reaches into many different bubbles which gives him varied experience and a well-rounded perspective.
Chase loves collaborating and is always keen to help others, enjoying tackling design challenges and creative problem-solving. He is adaptable and able to grow and change with the projects he tackles. Chase is enthusiastic and determined to pursue a career in graphic design; ready to create a path forward.
